Who are we looking for? 

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Residential Architect to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the environments where memories are made and cherished. You will be at the forefront of designing our portfolio of 4-plex and 8-plex buildings, as well as essential community amenities like clubhouses, pool facilities, fitness centers, and leasing offices. 

Your work will go beyond simple blueprints. You will be responsible for designing places people truly love to live. This involves a deep understanding of the needs and wants of future inhabitants and designing systems and spaces optimized for comfort, performance, and connection. You will work closely with our development and construction teams, considering factors like the site’s natural landscape, the direction of sunlight, and the efficient use of space to create beautiful, sustainable, and functional living environments. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in the design process from initial concept and schematic design through construction documentation and administration. 
  •  You will work with our innovative insulated precast concrete panel technology in the design and development of our buildings and our master planned multi-family rental communities.
  • Develop detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details. 
  • Create compelling 3D models and renderings for design review and marketing purposes. 
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of structural and MEP engineers, landscape architects, and interior designers. 
  • Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning ordinances, Fair Housing Act (FHA) guidelines, and other regulatory standards. 
  • Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs during the construction phase. 
  • In office Monday-Friday (core hours 8am-5pm) subject to change as needed per project schedule 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s in architecture from an accredited institution. 
  • Professional architectural license is preferred, but non licensed candidates will be considered (compensation may vary accordingly). 
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in residential architecture with a particular emphasis in Class A / luxury developments a plus. 
  • A strong portfolio showcasing completed residential projects (multifamily experience is a major plus). 
  • Excellent design, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

Your Modern Architectural Toolkit 

To succeed in this role, you must be proficient with a range of industry standards and cutting-edge tools. We believe in leveraging technology to enhance creativity and boost productivity, allowing you to focus on what truly matters: great design. 

Core Software Proficiency: 

  • Autodesk Revit 
  • AutoCAD 
  • Expertise in SketchUp, Rhino, and/or 3ds Max (or similar) for rapid modeling, coupled with advanced rendering engines like V-Ray, Lumion, or Enscape?to create photorealistic visualizations. 
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) expertise is welcome but not required. 

Next-Generation AI-Powered Tools: 

We are looking for a forward-thinking architect who embraces the latest advances in AI to work smarter and more creatively. Experience or a strong willingness to learn the following is highly desirable: 

  • AI for Site Analysis & Generative Design:?Familiarity with platforms like Autodesk Forma?(formerly Spacemaker) or others is desired. New AI tools are surfacing daily, so we are welcome for any experimentation you would like to share with us with any tool associated with architecture and design. 
  • AI for Conceptual Visualization:?The ability to leverage AI image generation tools like Midjourney?or AI-driven plugins such as Veras for Revit/SketchUp is desired.
