We are seeking an experienced CSA Construction Manager to oversee the civil, structural and architectural (CSA) scope of a major data centre construction project in Copenhagen. You will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all civil, structural and architectural construction activities across the project.
- Oversee site health and safety in collaboration with the Safety Advisor, ensuring all safety documentation is maintained and completed.
- Manage quality assurance processes alongside the Project Manager and wider project team.
- Coordinate project schedules with planners, subcontractors, consultants and design teams.
- Manage project costs, including labour, materials, plant, equipment, variations and valuations, working closely with the Quantity Surveyor.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and monitor subcontractor performance, progress and workforce levels.
- Hold regular subcontractor meetings and ensure all relevant documentation is up to date.
- Attend site meetings, project reviews, engineering reviews, planning meetings and handover meetings.
- Prepare daily project reports, weekly safety statistics and labour forecasts.
- Work with the commercial team to track variations, manage costs and ensure accurate client reporting.
- Ensure effective change management across project costs and schedules.
- Review technical drawings and setting-out details, and produce builders' work drawings for services.
- Coordinate, distribute and close out CSA snags and outstanding defects.
- Oversee project closeout, including final accounts, operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, punch lists, safety files, quality documentation and equipment relocations.
- Implement company procedures in collaboration with the project management team.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Construction Manager.
- Strong understanding of design and construction processes.
- Proven experience coordinating and managing large-scale construction projects.
- Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors and control project programmes.
- Trade background or relevant third-level qualification.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost and change management.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver against tight deadlines.
