Overview of YOUR role as a Construction Manager

As a Construction Manager, you will support large-scale power generation construction work from a site-based position, working day to day with the client team, contractors, and subcontractors. You will help coordinate site schedules and work scope, track field progress, and keep activities moving safely, on time, and within scope. This role requires a hands-on construction professional with a power generation or utility background who is comfortable working a demanding schedule, typically 60+ hours per week.

As a Construction Manager YOU will:

· Meet with the client team each morning to get aligned on priorities
· Meet with contractors and subcontractors on site to review the site schedule and work scope
· Coordinate daily field activities across multiple contractors and subcontractors
· Track construction progress, schedule adherence, and site status
· Support plant and utility outage support and construction activities
· Assist with risk identification and resolution in the field
· Communicate project status and issues to the project team and client
· Support safety compliance and quality standards on site
· Work between Dallas, TX and Odessa, TX job sites as project needs require

YOU are the ideal Construction Manager candidate if you have:

· Background in construction management, power plant, or utility new build and erection (required)
· Experience in project management, project engineering, or a related field (preferred)
· Experience coordinating contractors and subcontractors on site (required)
· Ability to work on site 5+ days per week with a 60+ hour schedule (required)
· Working knowledge of construction schedules and daily site planning
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to work effectively with client teams and multiple stakeholders
· Willingness to travel between job sites and to the home office when possible

It’s a BONUS if you have:

· Experience with large-scale plant construction or retrofits
· Experience with plant or utility outage work
· Background as a superintendent, lead engineer, or project engineer
· Experience with scheduling tools or cost tracking
· Familiarity with Texas utility projects
