We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager with a strong track record in managing major construction projects from planning through to completio

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day construction activities and site operations
• Lead and coordinate contractors, subcontractors and project teams
• Monitor project progress, quality, costs and programme timelines
• Manage construction programmes, resources and project deliverables
• Ensure compliance with OHS, quality and environmental requirements
• Identify and resolve construction and project-related challenges
• Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers and other stakeholders
• Monitor project budgets and control construction costs
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget

Desired Experience & Qualification

 

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction management
• BSc / BTech / Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related qualification
• SACPCMP Professional Construction Manager (Pr.CM) registration preferred
• Valid Construction Manager registration where applicable
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project programmes, budgets and quality standards
• Experience managing contractors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams
• Strong leadership, planning, coordination and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
