Construction Manager - Utility Scale Solar PV
Location: Site-based (SSA) Type: Fixed-term contract
Overview:
We are looking for a Construction Manager with deep experience delivering utility-scale solar PV projects. This individual must go beyond site supervision and actively contribute to project delivery, including reporting, contractor coordination, and programme execution.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage day-to-day site construction activities
● Oversee EPC contractor performance, quality, and HSE
● Support programme tracking, reporting, and milestone delivery
● Coordinate engineering, procurement, and logistics
● Participate in commercial discussions and site-level contract matters
● Support commissioning, punch list, and close-out
Requirements:
● 5-10+ years in solar PV construction
● Experience on 20MW-100MW+ projects
● Strong electrical / EPC background
● Exposure to project controls / reporting
● Registered or working towards (ECSA or equivalent preferred)
● Willing to be site-based
