Introduction

Our client, a leading Civil Construction Group of Companies in Wellington, is looking to appoint a Construction Manager/Site Agent to oversee the practical management and planning of every stage of the construction project.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Planning
  • Man-management
  • Plant management
  • Material management
  • Cost management
  • Contractual management
  • Public relations

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • BEng / BSc / BTech / ND in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Registration with ECSA or SACPCMP
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods (SANS 1200 / GCC)
  • Proven experience in civil construction project management (pipelines, earthworks, roads, concrete works)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Prepared to work away from home from time to time

Package & Remuneration

R750 000 to R950 000 per annum total ctc
