Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Site Construction Management & Operations
Manage, coordinate, and supervise all day-to-day electrical and civil build infrastructures on-site,
ensuring execution satisfies technical designs.
Govern site progress in accordance with Eskom policies, project lifecycles, specifications, and client-
approved schedules.
Administer engineering contracts, resolve contractual bottlenecks, manage site variations, and
coordinate resource allocation dynamically.
2. High Voltage Safety Coordination (ORHVS)
Enforce absolute adherence to the Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS) for work
inside or adjacent to high-voltage environments.
Oversee and authorize risk mitigation pathways, permit-to-work systems, isolation protocols, and
earthing setups before crew access.
Liaise with Control Officers and Authorized Persons to ensure live tracking and standard-driven
handbacks without grid disruptions.
3. Quality Assurance & SHEQ Governance
Uphold Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, ensuring a zero-harm
execution culture.
Review and approve technical Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and lead progressive milestone
compilation for final client hand-over.
